Mangalore: Tulu Theatre Stars Adorn 92.7 BIG FM's 'Thelikeda Barsa' Success Bash

Mangalore, Jul 13: To celebrate the successful completion of the laughter campaign 'Thelikeda Barsa' hosted by RJ Varsha on 92.7 BIG FM, a party was hosted at its premises located on the second floor of Bharath Mall. The campaign was a monsoon special aimed at spreading the importance of laughter.

Comedy stars from the Tulu drama industry including the likes of Naveen D Padil, Bhojaraja Vamanjoor, Dinesh Attavar, Sathish Bandale, Harish Bangera, Panduranga and Aravind Bolar were present on the occasion.

The Tulu artistes spoke on life in theatre and cracked some delightful jokes that entertained the gathering.

The programme began with a floral welcome to the celebrities by Jagadish Chandrashekhar, station head of 92.7 BIG FM Mangalore. He also thanked them at the end. Congratulated Varsha

RJ Varsha then shared her experiences about the week-long laughter campaign. She said that there had been tremendous response from the listeners, with calls pouring in from all areas of Mangalore, and sometimes even from places like Kasargod.

Naveen D Padil, the chief guest of the programme honoured all the other celebrities presenting them with a specially designed 'Thelikeda Barsa' memento. The RJs of 92.7 BIG FM also distributed the prizes to the winners of the week long on-air contests.

Finally, to celebrate the grand success of the event, a specially designed cake was cut in the presence of the dignitaries. Regular listeners of the station, the staff of BIG FM, Big Cinemas, Darshan from Isiri Herbals and members of the press were present on the occasion. RJ Errol compered the programme. RJ Vishwas also apoke.

Now a days Mangalore FM stations are airing more Hindi Songs. They should be ordered to air 90% Kannada/Tulu Songs. . Keep Handi in North India.

It looks like R.J.Varsha itself 'Thelikeda Barsa'. I liked it very much acting of Dinesh Atthavar in 'akka's role in 'Budee Budee Gadbidi'. Superb.
