Bangalore : Shettar Ministry - Palemar, Halady, Mendon in?

Bangalore : Shettar Ministry - Palemar, Halady, Mendon in?

Daijiworld Media Network - Bangalore

Bangalore, Jul 12: On Thursday, 31 members, including two deputy chief ministers will be taking oath in Jagadish Shettar ministry at 12 noon. Jagadish Shettar will be sworn in as the 21st CM of Karnataka. K S Eshwarappa and R Ashok will be sworn in as deputy CMs.

According to reliable sources, two of the three ministers who were trapped in 'blue film' episode in Vidhana Soudha earlier this year are expected to be back in the BJP cabinet. Krishna Palemar from Mangalore is almost certain to take oath on Thursday. Among other two - Laxman Savadi and C C Patil - one is expected to be in the cabinet.

The state BJP has reportedly recommended two names from Udupi. MLA Halady Srinivas Shetty or Kaup MLA Lalaji Mendon will certainly make a first time entry into the ministry.

All 21 ministers who were part of Sadananda Gowda ministry are retaining their portfolios, however, Apachu Ranjan from Madikeri, C T Ravi or Jivaraj from Chikmagalur, Anand Singh or Karunakar Reddy from Bellary, Aravinda Limbavali, Karadi Sanganna are learnt to be among the other probables.

While giving the green signal to form the new government in Karnataka, on Wednesday, governor Bharadwaj advised Shettar to keep 'corrupt' people keep away from the ministry. He also reportedly told Shettar not to include ministers who were involved in the porngate scandal. "Do not embarass me by including such ministers," the governor reportedly told Shettar.

Great people like Gandiji, Tilak.. never wanted any post, they struggled to uplift the society, now with democracy, politicians playing with the sentiments of people by sowing the seed of cast system! They are only bothered abt their betterment. What a pathetic situation!

Ever since Men of BJP came to power, they spent all these years simply moving here and there,to Resorts etc. and did nothing of Administration. The administration went on as a rule through Secretaries and subordinates. BJP's first and last opportunity in power in Karnataka. For future, let them be installed in opposition benches only or rather, even not elected at all.

Palemar can now dream of acquiring all the unacquired land in Dakshina Kannada. BJP is having the last laugh but it will last only for 11 months from now on.

The BJP is encouraging and rewarding the 'porngate' ministers instead of punishing them! Bad news for Mangalore. This is really sad. This clearly shows their corrupt nature right from the top. If the top management itself is corrupt how can they point fingers at others???

I am a lingayat. But i will not vote for BJP anymore. My friends who are gowdas, brahmins, muslims, 'dalits' etc all say that they will also not vote for this party anymore. They have cheated us, not only economically, but also by bringing caste/community equations.

BJP hit the last nail of it coffin in Karnataka by bowing down to Yeddi. Even in this mess one good devlopment is a a generous personality like Halady Srinivas Shetty finally has a chances of finally getting his due for his selfless service to his consituency & the Party without lobbying for any posts despite getting elected consecutive times from Kundapur.

Today Halady Srinivas shetty will win even if his stands as a Independent candidate in Kundapur, thats his personnel calibre. He's known for devloping his consituency as a model for the rest, does not enetrtain his own supportors or friends while awarding Govt Tenders and going by procedure Tender process (I have my own reltives who are 24/7 with H.S.S but could not gain any benifits other than a lunch & dinner at his place), never interfered in any Govt official delivering his duties and his people friendly nature with all the people in his consistuency irrespective of caste or creed.

BJP's " Paapadha Koda" might get little emptied if they recognise the services of Halady Srinivas Shetty & Yogesh Bhat. Right said HSS deserves a Ministerial Berth

Can you imagine how much it will cost to the tax payer if 31 ministers made overnight without a requirement as such. The CM DVS handled all these days and saved tax payers money. He knows to respect the sentiments of voters who know that there are only 8 months left for fresh elections. These so called short term ministers will become ministers and their names will be carved in every stone and marbles everywhere they go as ‘MINISTER’ and they are entitled for social benefits for their entire life as former minister so and so.

Corruption at its best.. Wat else can we expect from these corrupt politicians.

Vasundara, Udupi
Thursday, July 12, 2012

This week we had lots of feeling for DVS when he was removed on the basis of caste. Today, i realised and I am sure all of you (readers) will agree that, No politician needs to be symphathised, who know well how to claim their pound of flesh in one or other way.

The instances that proved me are

1. Ananth Kumar and Eshwarappa accompanying BSY in the same car to Raj Bhawan y'day, on the eve of Shetter claiming his stake to form the Govt. Some days back these trio were teeth to tooth, and I wonder how did they compromise now?...one cannot imagine this without quid quo pro!

2. DVS claimed himself a loyal party worker till Monday, but Tuesday he was a part of the drama holding himself with conditions to appoint him as State President (which is not less than a CM post because of the forthcoming Assembly Election). Not only that, he wanted his supporters to get DCM, and other prominent Ministries!

3. DVS himself with Chickmanglur based MLA Jeevaraj got a housing land allotted in Bangalore at the mercy of then CM BSY, and they both joined that lands to construct a Commercial Building, and later when the matter went to court (soon after DVS became CM), they split the building over night! So DVS too is not less to others in makining illegal gains and mis using his powers!

4. Finally, it is very clear to me now, if the same DVS did not had a opponent like BSY with 70 MLAs in his support, and in that situation if he was asked to resign, he would have definately shown his colours same like BSY, but in the present situation he knew that any adamency or refusal to resign can windup his political carrier with BJP. So that it self shows all Politicians are timely and act on situation basis.

I hope you all have enough things to imagine how worst these politicians could be?, and simply symphathising and supporting them is a waste of time and energy.

Since Yogish Bhat and Angara are from minority faction and no swamijis are at their command/help no chance. They were only 'utilised'by BJP in Karnataka from time to time. Those who are having no lobby,no swamiji backing, non involvement in big corruption issues, illegal land grabings, gossips etc have no future in BJP Karnataka.

Shettar ministry, which is facing such a confusion before it take off is unprecedented. On one hand factional feuds and uncertainty in the last minute of DVS's change of mind for a few crucial hours and the other hand fresh LAND D-Notification allegation against Shettar, which could force BJP to look for forth CM of Karnataka.Anyway this govt will not last 2-3 months. When Lokayukta charges the Designated CM,Shettar, then the same question will be raised that if Shettar in spite of under the scanner of Lokayukta, then what mistake Yeddy made to keep away from CM post?

Palemar and Halady will make it to last ELEVEN.Mendon may kept 12 th man.Angara of Sullia is the right and Dalith Candidate for a place in Shettar's ministry but some are how not possible because....
