Moodbidri, Jul 11: 'Bhava', the maiden Kannada movie by coastal district's talented youngster Prakash Kabettu, will be screened across Karnataka on Friday July 13. Kabettu has incorporated his innovative ideas in film-making by using the latest technology in the movie.
He is already an accomplished producer and director, having released several telefilms including 'Ninada', 'Tantra', 'Himsachara', 'Gandhi Niluvu', 'Vanadeviya Vara', 'Wanted', 'Michael I Miss You', 'Rwanda Massacre', and 'Ghost Hunters'.
Prakash hails from a village in Karkala and has already made his mark as a cartoonist, journalist, and choreographer. His maiden movie is a testimony of his burning desire to achieve something significant in life.
The trailers of Bhava on Facebook and YouTube have already been liked by a large number of viewers. Despite the movie having horror and thriller aspects, it qualifies for family entertainment. The censor board has issued U / A certificate for the movie.
"After 40 minutes of screening, the movie gets a twist that engages the viewers till the end. It will hold the viewers' attention till the climax unfolds," added Kabettu. "Optical illusions have been extensively used to thrill the viewers. Animation has also been used," he said.
Local artistes, both experienced and new, have been cast in the movie. There are two songs, composed by local talent Rajesh Bhat who makes his debut as film music director with this movie.
Kabettu has plans to produce fiction-based movies in the future.
