Bangalore: Kannada Movie Shot in Less than Two Hours Breaks All Records

Bangalore: Kannada Movie Shot in Less than Two Hours Breaks All Records

Daijiworld Media Network - Bangalore

Bangalore, Jul 6: Kannada directors seem to have a penchant for winding up their films in the quickest time possible. Dinesh Babu had taken 48 hours to complete the movie 'Edu Sadya', 10 directors took 18 hours for their movie 'Sugreeva', and Thriller Manju took just 13 hours for his 'Police Story-3'.

Now, another milestone has been set in the history of Kannada fim industry. Breaking all records, 'Nam Areal Innondina' was shot in just 1 hour and 40 minutes on Tuesday July 3!

The muhurtham of the movie was held at 7.30 am, and shooting began at 8 am. By 9.45 am, it was pack-up time, all scenes having been shot in just single takes!

The film has been produced by Anaji Nagraj and directed by Arvind Kaushik, with Roopika, Ravishanker, Rishab, Raviteja, Patre Ajith, Chethan Chandra, Gundragovi Satya, Kailash, Acchuth and Shimoga Ragu among the cast. The movie was shot by using two Red cameras and five Canon 5D cameras

Anaji Nagaraj was also the producer of 'Sugreeva', a movie that was shot in just 18 hours. At around the same time, a Hindi movie named 'One Shot - Fear Without Cut' had just finished shooting in 2 hours and 20 minutes. Inspired, Anaji Nagaraj wanted to make a movie in lesser time, a dream he realized with 'Nam Areal Innondina'.

As it 'Ashada' now, movies are generally put on hold, but this film was not only shot, but done so in a record-breaking time.

As the movie wrapped up, celebration erupted in the camp on having achieved the rare feat. There were shouts of joy all around, and it was apparent that every person who was part of the movie knew that what they had done was nothing short of a world record.

My friend, your comment to Jessey is too egotistical. M sure Jossey was neither waiting for your advise nor getting a constructive answer from the movie maker.

Devotees visit temple and seek Poojary's blessings and not cursings. I see you always dumping a spoon to the curry pot for no use.

My dearest friend, our nadu is Kannada Nadu. Let us praise our own state language rather disparaging.

God bless you my dear.

What a bunch of monkeys!

I can shoot a 90 min movie in 10mins with different logistics. That doesnt mean the movie would be good. Let there be a standard for the movie and if met, then let it be a record.

Just shooting any bullshit will not serve any good for anyone but for some local record books.

Kannada movie lacks quality. 80's movies were of better quality than movies these days. CRAP!!

Can Watch or should come out before half an hour. All other director's are fool to do movie for long 2-3 years. Kannada Movie Industry to improve much more. No good actors around who makes name all over.
