DID Little Masters Goes Fully Filmy

Mumbai, June 20 (IBNS) The ‘Top 10’ kids on Zee TV's dance reality show DID Lil Masters will be seen pulling out all stops and going fully filmy on the Bollywood special episode of the show this Sunday.

Paying a tribute to the dancing stars of Indian Cinema, the l’il dancers will be seen shaking a leg to dance hits that have lived on in the hearts of most Indians over the last three decades.

Whether it is the innocent magic of Sunil Dutt, the wild fever of Shammi Kapoor, the impeccable charm of Rishi Kapoor or the effortless flamboyance of Govinda …  be it the beauty and grace of Asha Parekh, the sensational style of Helen or the chic step-work of Karisma Kapoor, these dhamakedar, chota packet contestants will capture the essence of each movie star.

Whether it is Saumya & Rohan performing ‘Jai Jai Shiv Shankar’ as Mumtaz & Rajesh Khanna using a trampoline as a prop or Faisal & Shalini as the evergreen couple in love - Rishi Kapoor & Neetu Singh, it was a retro Bollywood night on the sets of DID L’il Masters.

Tanay & Shreya paid tribute to Shammi Kapoor & Helen with ‘O Haseena Zulfonwaali’ while Shreya stepped in again to partner l’il Jeet Das in a medley that brought to mind the super jodi of Govinda and Karisma Kapoor.

Adding the comic touch, which is a part and parcel of every Hindi movie, were Om and Uday who brought to life Mehmood and Sunil Dutt from ‘Ek Chatur Naar’ wooing an absent Saira Banu.

The kids were so spot-on in their performances that grandmaster Mithun Chakraborty couldn’t help but go on a nostalgic trip.

Also in filmy avatars were Masters Geeta and Marzi dressed up as Sridevi and Anil Kapoor from Mr India, complete with the iconic blue sari and fedora.
