With 'Teri Meri Kahaani', Kunal Kohli Takes up Another Challenge

Daijiworld Media Network - Entertainment

Mumbai, Jun 18: A Hindi film director based in mumbai, Kunal Kohli is now 6 films old. His interest in films got him to be a film critic and a music video director in the beginning. He also ventured into production with the film 'Break ke baad'.

Films like 'Hum Tum' and 'Fanaa' have made him one of Bollywood's most reputable romantic directors. He recently stated in an interview that he was lucky enough to be signed under the Yashraj banner as their first director to start off his film career. Since then, he has been on a roll, film after film.

His current venture to be released soon, 'Teri Meri Kahaani', deals with three stories spanning over a century. Kohli prefers to take chances as he did with cartoon characters in 'Hum Tum'. Challenges like remaking an enitre era in 'Teri Meri Kahaani' is what he believes in .

His advice to future directors is to put in a lot of hard work. "Glamour is not all about fame and money. It is about being prepared for blood, sweat and tears," he says.

'Teri Meri Kahaani' is a romantic drama set to be released on June 22. The film stars Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra in the lead. "Thrice upon a love story .." makes an attractive tagline for all movie buffs.
