Sharjah, Jun 11: Udyavara Muslim Unit (UMU-UAE) celebrated its fourth anniversary at Sindh “Shahbaz Restaurant - Taj Mahal” Party Hall here on Friday June 8.
The celebration began with recitation of Holy Quran by Arfan Palli. General secretary Khalik Hyder invited the guests on stage. UMU’s honorary president and director of MYA Udyavara Haji Abdul Jaleel Saheb presided.

















UMU president Khaisar Mohammed Abu welcomed the guests.
Annual report for the year year 2011 -12 was presented by vice president Ashraf Sattar.
Auditor Nazeer Hussain Patayath presented the audit report.
Amjad Rasheed announced the winners of UMU sports meet-2012. Sameer Sherief Pande and Nazeer Hussain Patayath were conferred with best performers of the year award. During his speech UMU honorary president Haji Abdul Jaleel Saheb applauded the efforts of UMU members in last four years and appealed the members to support ‘Millat Education Trust’ for its development back in Udyavara. UMU’s chief advisor Ansar Aziz, president Khaisar Mohammed Abu, chief guest Hussain Ibrahim were present on the dais.
UMU office bearers elected for next two years are as follows: Honorary president - Haji Abdul Jaleel Saheb Chief advisor - Ansar Aziz President - Khaisar Mohammed Abu General secretary - Khalik Hyder First vice president - Hussain Ibrahim Second vice president - Afzal Rasheed Chief treasurer - Ashraf Sattar First joint secretary - Sameer Sherief Pande Second joint secretary - Firoz Sherief Treasurer - Nayaz Palli Chief auditor - Nazeer Hussain Patayath Event coordinator - Imthiyaz Sattar Media - Amjad Rasheed Islamic and general knowledge quiz, raffle draw were held during the event and prizes were distributed to the winners.
Gift hampers sponsored by Chilly Willy were distributed among all attendees.
UMU chief advisor Ansar Aziz delivered the vote of thanks.
General secretary Khalik Hyder anchored the program.
Games were organized at the end and prizes were distributed to winners. Buffet dinner was served after the event.
