Mangalore: Music of Tulu Movie 'Bangarda Kural' Launched

Mangalore, Mar 24: The music of upcoming Tulu movie 'Bangarda Kural' was launched at a ceremony at Town Hall here on Saturday March 24 at 5.30 pm.

The audio CD was released by Dr Hansraj Alva of Vinaya Nursing Home in the presence of a number of dignitaries from the cultural and business fields who graced the occasion.

A formal inaugural function was also organsized to mark the release of the CD. The function began with the lighting of lamp by Amarnath Shetty, former minister, Moodbidri along with other dignitaries on the dias namely lead actor in the movie, Shivadwaj, lead actress Paki Hegde, music director V Manohar, Ajith Kumar Rai Maladi, Rohith Shetty Nagrigutthu, M Sanath Semitha, Umanath Kotian, Karnataka Tulu Sahitya Academy president Vijaynath Vittal Shetty, Vilay Nayak, Thammalakshmana, art director Sanath Kumar Shetty and many other wellwishers.

A variety of cultural programmes added charm to the event.

In his address, Ram Shetty, the story writer and director of the movie narrated his journey to the silver screen. He also thanked each and everyone for making his dream (of bringing out this movie) a reality and a success. He specially thanked Sri Niranjana Swamiji of Sunkadakatte for his constant support to him.

"Due to the wholehearted commitment, dedication and hard work of the film crew and the support of my well-wishers, my dream has come true," he said.

Machendranath Pandeshwar, who has written the dialogues for the movie, was felicitated on the occasion.

Adyar Madhava Naik, Divakar Naik, Jagadeesh Shetty Sarvani, Jayaram Sheikha, Mahesh Motors, Shivaraj Shetty, Purushotham Bhandary, Deepak Shetty, ThammaLakshman and others were present.
