CBSE issues revised counsellor list for students abroad

New Delhi, Feb 27 (IANS) The Central Board for Secondary Education Monday issued a revised list of student helpline numbers for students outside India.

An official statement from the board Monday said 12 CBSE counselors would be addressing the problems of CBSE students outside India.

"For the first time, Nepal is participating in the tele-counselling. The Indian High School Dubai has also volunteered to help students during the first phase," an official statement from CBSE said.

The list of counselors include Prof. Dr. Mohammed Aejaz from Doha (Qatar) (00974-44684849), Rajalaxmy Pillai, UAE, (009712525188), Rakesh Sharma, Oman (0096899277404), K. Rahamathullah, Saudi Arabia (00966-02-6720999), S.S. Baral, Nepal (00977-9841311515), David Ipe, Dubai (00971506956582), Nirmal Jain, Japan (080 3505 2247), M.R.S. Tresa, Hawally (00965-66352725), Jean Addelenr, UAE (050-6399097, 06-5335954), Dr. E.K Mohammed Shaffe, Khobar (0096638142807, 0096638879657), M. Abubaker, UAE (00971-50-5794542) and T.Prem Kumar, Kuwait (965-66231493).

The pre-exam counselling started Feb 1 and will continue till April 16. This is the fifteenth consecutive year that CBSE will be providing counselling services to students and parents during the entire period of examinations to overcome examination stress and common problems.
