Mumbai: Bunts Sangh Distributes Scholarships to Students

Mumbai, Jun 8: “Bunts Sangha is the hope for the community’s progress.  Keep this in mind and contribute whatever mite possible.  Several welfare activities are being planned for the community and these will be realized shortly.  The vision of my father, the late Vasu K Shetty, has been realized today since I am happy about contributing generously in his memory for the Sangh,” said hotelier and Charisma Builders managing director Sudhir V Shetty.

He was speaking at the programme held for distribution of scholarship to the community’s economically weaker students, held at Radhabai T Bhandary auditorium of Buntara Bhavan here, recently.

Tunga Group of Hotels chairman and managing director Sudhakar S Hegde, and Sampoorna Hotels Private Limited chairman and managing director Padmanabha S Payyade, were the guests of honour on the occasion.

Bunts Sangha president Aikala Harish Shetty, in his presidential address, acknowledged the generous contribution of veterans of the community towards the social welfare and education of economically-weaker students.

Bunts Sangha vice-president chartered accountant Shankar B Shetty, honorary chief secretary V K Shetty, treasurer Prabhakar L Shetty, education and community welfare committee vice-president Mahesh S Shetty, joint treasurer chartered accountant Satish Shetty, education and social welfare committee secretary Bhaskar M Shetty, convener Ratnakar Shetty Mundkoor, and honorary treasurer Ashok Pakkala were present on the dais.

Ashok Pakkala compered the programme while V K Shetty proposed the vote of thanks.

sir,i am studying in acharya institution of tecnology banglore under the department of computer science engineering in 5th sem(3rd year).as my father is not well from last year our family is facing major financial requirements.i joined 3rd year by taking money for intrust(credit).but that full amount i used to pay the fees.

now i don't have money to buy books,and still i have not able to pay the exam pee for 5th sem.i got 84% in 10th,77% in 12th.in 1st sem in engg i got 58%,2nd sem 69%,3rd sem 65%,and in 4th sem 70%.First year of engg i payed 28,000,2nd year 33,500 and in 3rd year 33,500.now my father is in serious condition,and we don't have money to admit him to hospital.and the person who gave money for me to pay the pee for 3rd year is asking that amount back.my brother also completed his 12th in this year,but we don't have money to admit him to collage.so i'am expecting you to help us please.
