Bangalore: PFI's National Health Campaign Kicks-off with Marathon on Nov 21

Bangalore, Nov 22: The Bangalore District Council organized a “Marathon on Sunday November 21 to mark the inaugural function of the week long campaign of the Popular Front of India (PFI) that commenced from Bannappa Park passing through K G Road, Government Arts and Science College Road and ended near YMCA, Nrupathunga Road.

The programme commenced with a yoga demonstration by Siraj in which hundreds of cadres and general public participated. The marathon was flagged off by Prof Nazneen Begum, councillor, Padrayanapura ward 135.

Members belonging to other social organizations, general public and invitees from all classes joined the marathon to extend their support in building a “Healthy Nation”. At the concluding point PFI vice-president Abdul Wahid and Shaafi, National Working Committee member, Social Democratic Party of India addressed the gathering.

PFI, a neo-social organization is holding nationwide Health Campaign “Healthy People Health Nation” from November 21 to 28 to bring an awareness among the fellow citizens to keep their environment clean, importance of physical education, encourage games, yoga and other activities which helps in maintaining good health. Popular Front of India’s campaign will include posters, hand bills, series of health check-up camps, blood donation camps, cleaning and public awareness programmes for maintaining hygienic environment, counseling of drug addicts and alcoholics and will be conducted throughout the city.

    A good campaign from "POPULAR FRONT OF INDIA" these type of programmes,which is in the public intrest should be conducted by every Organisations. PFI is the role model for other Org.This is the only Organisation in India which respects Indian Constitution, Law & order. Every Indian should support PFI for its contribution for well being of the public,Upliftment of the oppressed. I wish PFI a grand success in its future endeavours.
