He got in touch with the chief minister and home minister. Connection with Ukraine embassy was established through minister for external affairs, S Jayashankar. The minister came to know that the student was in Kyrgyzstan country. Later, the embassy of that country was contacted and the concerned were requested to send the student back to India. Ajaikumar will be returning home soon.

It is learnt that MP Bhagwanth Khuba, also put in efforts in finding the boy within three days and safely bringing him back. District superintendent of police, D L Nagesh, took personal interest and helped the student's family. The minister has suggested to the students to stop going to foreign countries for such education as high quality education is being imparted in the country. If going there cannot be avoided, foreign policies of that country, safety, background of the college and other facilities should be studied. He said that safety should be the utmost concern and one should not fall prey to lures of strangers or agencies.
