Kundapur, Jan 19: Chief minister B S Yediyurappa addressing media clarified that there was no rift between him and MLA Renukacharya.

He was speaking to reporters after visiting Kumbhashi Anegudde temple on Tuesday, January 19. The CM stated that he had a conversation with the MLA and also asked to meet him personally.

Earlier in the month, after Yediyurappa had inducted seven new ministers into his Cabinet, several including ministerial aspirant MLA Renukacharya had expressed displeasure.

"There are discussions regarding the distribution of portfolios, they will be distributed in the next two days," the CM said.

"Vidhana Mandala session is about to commence and the government is trying hard to ensure all-round progress of the state. The budget will be announced soon and it prepared considering the pandemic situation and the financial limitations. It will be tabled during the first week of March," he added.

"On my two-day visit across Udupi, I have offered my prayers to the almighty and asked for rains and bountiful harvest," he said.
