Puttur: Man found trafficking drugs held, ganja seized

Puttur, Jan 18: In an operation conducted at around 2.50 pm on January 15, the deputy inspector of Puttur town arrested A N Nawaz (30), resident of Savanur village, Kadaba. He was found to be carrying ganja in a motorbike near Purushakatte, Narimogaru here.

Two kilograms of ganja and mobile phone were recovered. The value of drugs seized has been put at Rs 40,000.

A case has been registered against him in the city police station here.
