Mangaluru/Udupi, Jan 16: As per the Dakshina Kannada health bulletin the district reported 20 fresh coronavirus cases and one death on Saturday raising the tally to 33,394. Out of these, 95 cases are currently active.
A total of 5,42,968 samples have been tested. Out of which 5,09,574 are negative.
As many as 41 people were discharged on Saturday. A total of 733 deaths have occurred so far.
Over 24,322 mask violations were reported in the Dakshina Kannada district and Rs 25,65,845 in fines have been collected by the authorities.
Udupi
The coronavirus tally in the district has risen to 23,218, including 5 fresh cases on Saturday. Out of these, 27 cases are currently active.
Over 3,20,891 samples have been tested so far, of which 2,97,673 have turned out negative.
As many as 19 patients were discharged on Saturday. A total of 189 deaths have occurred so far
