Mangaluru: Faculty development programme held at Milagres College

Mangaluru, Jan 16: The IQAC of Milagres College on January 16 organized a faculty development programme, 'Strategic Planning' for the faculty of Milagres College, PUC section, PTA members and student representatives.

The correspondent, Fr Bonaventure Nazareth presided over and inaugurated the programme. In his message, he said, “The quality of any institution depends on its faculty. Therefore, it is necessary to enrich the quality and build the institution."

The resource person for this session was Professor Aloysius H Sequeira, the dean from the department of Management, NITK Surathkal. He dealt with the topic of ‘Strategic Planning’. Strategic planning is a vision of the institutions' future for which a good plan with precise goals and objectives with desired outcomes is necessary.

Campus director, Fr Michael Santhumayor welcomed the gathering. PUC principal, John Pais, the academic advisor Professor Lourdusamy were present for the programme.

Degree vice-principal, Cassin Rodrigues proposed the vote of thanks. The IQAC coordinator, Denzil D’Costa compered the programme.
