Bengaluru: CM Yediyurappa asks BJP 'rebel' MLAs to meet high command, 'not complain in public'

Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru (MS)

Bengaluru, Jan 14: CM Yediyurappa expanded the state cabinet on Wednesday, January 13 and inducted seven new ministers. However, after the expansion, the number of disgruntled MLAs in the party has sharply risen.

More than 10 MLAs including H Vishwanath, Munirathna, political secretary of CM Renukacharya, Basangouda Patil Yatnal and Ramdas have openly expressed their rage against the CM. They have even tweeted against the decision of CM. Yediyurappa, who is irate because of the public statements and tweeting of the disappointed BJP MLAs, has asked them to raise their complaints with the party leaders in Delhi. CM has also requested the unhappy MLAs not to talk in public and embarrass the party.

CM Yediyurappa said, "There is no need for MLAs of BJP, who are unhappy with the cabinet expansion, to speak in public about the matter. They can go to Delhi and speak to the top brass of the party. I do not have any objection. If they have issues with the newly inducted ministers, let them raise a complaint with the high command. It is not right to speak in public and embarrass the party. Let the MLAs give any information they have to the high command. I do not object to anyone going to Delhi."

"If the MLAs give complaint against me, the top leaders of the party will decide what is right and what is wrong. The cabinet expansion decision is that of top leaders of the party in Delhi."

By his statement, Yediyurappa had made it indirectly clear that he does not have any role to play in the cabinet expansion. Yediyurappa dropped excise minister H Nagesh from the cabinet and inducted seven new ministers. The efforts of Munirathna, who had deserted Congress and H Vishwanath, who had migrated from JD (S) went in vain as they were not given a berth in the cabinet.

Many BJP members have expressed their rage against Yediyurappa for having given cabinet berth to CP Yogeeshwara. Basangouda Patil Yatnal openly expressed his disappointment on the inclusion of Yogeeshwara and said that he has blackmailed the CM and got inducted into the cabinet.

Shameful Karnataka Politics where there is no comparison even in the whole world. Dirty game against each other political party and even within the party.
CD game, Corruption or whatever it is people of Karnataka will not change!! Lame spectators of the looting the land since the independence.
Congress High Command was earlier used to be criticized by the same ruling party, now following same steps towards dictatorship and family politics. No freedom

what an insult to you yeddy? your mlas are heckling you like no other CM has faced such kind of embarassment. Getting the taste of your own medicine.

Just by buying mlas with demonetization and GST money you thought that you will be able to control these monsters? For that man like Siddaramaiah is required..not your cup of tea

If you have little respect you should resign and get back to your old gang of reddys and do mining business in ballary.

After all you also let and established KJP at one time. ha ha ha
