Kaup: Wayward tipper claims life of pedestrian

Kaup, Dec 5: A person, who was walking by the side of the road on the night of Thursday December 3 lost his life after a tipper hit him at Neerchal in Santhoor village.

The pedestrian, Praveen Mendon (52), native of Padubidri and resident of a rented house in Manjarapalke, had suffered grave injuries in the accident. He had been admitted into the district Wenlock Hospital at Mangaluru. He did not respond to treatments and breathed his last in the hospital.

Praveen was going to a shop when a tipper moving towards Karkala from the direcition of Padubidri hit him.
