Panaji: 'NEP will be implemented from June' - CM

Panaji, Dec 3: Chief minister Pramod Sawant said that the New Education Policy (NEP) will be implementation will begin in Goa from the start of the next academic year in June 2021.

Speaking at the foundation stone laying ceremony for the new building of Vijayanand High School in Mayem, Bicholim, Sawant said, "The NEP might not have sections like arts, commerce, and science, but would focus on skill-based curricular activities for students. We will implement it from the next academic year."

"NEP will help to promote inborn skills and talents of students," he added.
