God Saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be, So he put His arms around you and Whispered ,
    "COME TO ME".

With tearful eyes, we watched him suffer,
    And saw him fade away.
    Although we loved him dearly,
We could not make him stay.
    A golden heart stopped beating,
    Hard working hands to rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us
    He only takes “The Best”.

I still miss the sound of your voice, the wisdom of your advice , the real and funny stories we had shared to each other . You were and will always be an inspiration to myself, the entire family and anyone who worked with you.

As you quoted on your whatsApp status "A cause worth dying for is also a cause worth living for...." Indeed, You fought an incredible battle till your last breath and now you are in a better place(an eternal life) You have left a void in the family that will never be filled.

While we mourn today, we also take comfort in the fact that your mission on earth have been fulfilled. We thank the Lord for your life and bid you farewell until we meet again. RIP in the arms of the angels, as they carry you to heaven.

May the Lord be with you and with your spirit. We miss you a lot..... Adieu uncle.

So sad to hear the news of the untimely demise of Rev.Fr.Lawrence Martis. About 5 years back we the Konkani speaking diaspora residing in Mississauga, Canada were blessed to listen to his amazing Preaching during the Lenten Spiritual Retreat organized by the Mangalorean Association of Canada. Hundreds of faithful who attended that spirit-filled Retreat mission reminiscing his preaching even today. An awesome priest whom we are going to miss rest of our life. May the Lord grant great strength to his bereaved family & friends to bear this irreparable loss. May his divine soul Rest In Peace!

We have lost a pious priest from our Neerude parish. It is a great loss for the catholic community.
He was an ardent missionary always striving for the service of humankind.
In our church our parish priest Fr. Assisi Rebello was offering prayers for his health and mission in every mass. Our condolences to his family and the whole Neerude parish.
