Mangaluru, Nov 26: The NCC Army Wing of St Aloysius College (Autonomous), here, on November 26 jointly organised a blood donation camp as part of the NCC Day celebration with 18 Kar Battalion NCC and 6 Kar Air Sqn NCC under the guidance of Colonel Manoj V U (Commanding Officer), Lt Col Amithabh Singh (Administrative Officer) and Associate NCC Officer of St Aloysius College, ANO Capt Shakinraj and ANO Flyg Officer Alwyn Misquith.
The camp was conducted in association with the city's District Wenlock Hospital. Dr Sharath Kumar Rao, the Blood Bank Officer and the staff of DWH were present during the camp.
Cadets of St Aloysius College (Autonomous) and cadets from various colleges of Mangaluru took part in this camp.
The camp was presided over by Dr Denis Fernandes, principal-in charge. Dr Ronald Nazareth, co-ordinator of STAR College Scheme and Dr John DSilva, director of Xavier block were present.
