Mangaluru: Children of Valencia church receive First Holy Communion

Mangaluru, Nov 25: Enthusiastic boys and girls clad in pure white suit and gown along with their parents and family on the morning of Sunday November 22 gathered to receive their First Holy Communion.

27 children of the parish received First Holy Communion. The children actively participated in the liturgy. Readings, Psalm singing, prayers of the faithful were managed by the communicants.

Parish priest, Fr Roque D'Sa was the main celebrant. A beautiful sermon was preached by Fr Pascal Menezes, the parish priest, St Theresa Church Kera. Assistant parish priest, Fr Lancy D’Souza and Fr William Barracas were the con-celebrants.



After the eucharistic celebration, children were given rosaries and scapulars.
