Mumbai: Three Vasai girls steal cash, flee home

Mumbai, Nov 25: Three girls reportedly went missing from their homes on Sunday, November 22. The girls aged 12 and 13 are said to have stolen cash from their homes and fled. A case has been registered of abduction at Valiv police station in Vasai (east), and a search is launched.

In the wee hours of Sunday, the father of one of the girls woke up and found his daughter missing from her bed. It was around 1.30 am, he called the parents of his daughter's friend when it was found that the other two girls were missing and realized that they had probably fled together.

The parents of the missing girls reported that cash kept at their homes were missing. The parents revealed to police that cash amounting to nearly Rs 20,000 to Rs 25,000 was missing from each of the homes.
