It's not commisioner who had to visit today, where is the MP, MLA, and that highway design team of engineer who couldn't even design where exactly the fly over should end. And for what did we elect our MP and mla for couldn't they ask the construction design to be changed when the work started. Even school going kid can tell that underpass is required in that spot, it's the main and only road leading to ullal city with 1lakh population .

The cross road to Ullal and the end of flyover is indeed a badly designed intersection. Hope a few more road humps will not be the answer . Under the present circumstance, until an underpass is created from the service road to Ullal road , may be the only way would be to deviate traffic through the thokkutu underpass .. and may be widen the service road as much as possible; but completely barricade the flyover traffic through to Kasaragod side ...

The entire highway is designed wrongly by that company. They atleast could have researched the Bangalore- Hassan highway on how and where to provide service roads.

Yes there are traffic police even at junctions, but they are busy surfing on their mobiles sitting in one corner, or they are busy in collecting fines. They are not even bothered to control the traffic at the junctions or the pedestrians waiting to cross the road. I believe there can be different traffic sqauds teams to do collecting of fines and not the police personnel at the junctions. These instances can be found mainly at kankanady and bendoorwell unction, jothi, bunts hostel, balmatta, opp Taj Mahal etc. I think police commissioner should take a spot checking rounds and on traffic police and take strict measures to get this right

A question to the Comm. of Police. Sir does the City need the death of it's citizens for the Authority's action to be warranted.

Bad and totally unscientific roads done by unscrupulous contractors and engineers have made Mangaloreans pay a very heavy price. I have earlier written to the Commissioners office about another road with suggestions on how it may be corrected. So far ot seems since no major accident has happened the matter is on freeze.

Completely agree. Why the flyover ends at junction? I guess this is only flyover designed to end at a junction. They should extend flyover further to Kapikad. All vehicles travelling towards Ullal need to take Serivce Road and then right turn below flyover (this need to constructed as well).
