Mangaluru, Oct 23: Elias Gerald D'Silva assistant professor Post Graduate Department Of Social Work, St Aloysius College (Autonomous) was awarded the doctorate in philosophy by Mangalore University.
He was conferred the PhD for his thesis on 'A Study On The Functioning And Effectiveness Of Government Primary School Education In Mangalore Taluk - A Social Work Context' under the guidance Of Dr Jacinta D'Souza former principal, School Of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya, Mangaluru.
Elias Gerald D'Silva is the son of Late Francis D'Silva former serviceman and Late Veronica D'Silva. He is residing at Cascia, Mangaluru.
