Chikkaballapur, Oct 1: Photography is banned inside Guru Dattatreya Bababudangiri Swamy Dargah cave in the taluk. However, it is alleged that rules were violated when the photograph of district in-charge minister C T Ravi was clicked when he visited the cave to have the Darshan of the Datta Paduke there on Monday September 28.

Ravi, who has been appointed as the national general secretary of the BJP, had visited the Datta Peeta on Monday. A photo of Ravi praying inside the cave is being widely shared in WhatsApp groups. Many have raised objection, duly pointing out that his photo was taken although there is ban on the same.

District superintendent of police, Akshay M Hake, said that he is not aware about the clicking of the minister's photo inside the cave. He said he will look into it.

Minister Ravi said that he is not aware about his photo having been taken. He felt that someone would have taken his photo by using mobile phone.
