Dubai: Two employees held for forging Covid-19 results

Dubai, Sep 30: Authorities reported that two employees at the Covid-19 screening centre in the UAE were found to be forging several results. The duo have been arrested.

As per reports from investigations, the two employees forged the result for a fee, the spokesperson for the emergency, crisis and disaster prosecution said in a statement.

The employees were found to be altering imagesa of the negative test results of other people, got paid for it and those who paid enter Abu Dhabi until the Dubai police busted the scheme. Both the employees were arrested and are referred for prosecution.

The UAE attorney-general has in the meantime ordered their detention.

"Legal action will be taken against anyone who fails to abide by the laws, procedures and precautionary measures set to curb the spread of Covid-19," the spokesperson said.

The UAE authorities have adopted to zero tolerance policy against any types of Covid rule violation in the fight towards the pandemic.

    I can understand the UAE authorities and their anger.Self the persons who are positive should understand the seriousness of the disease and its effect for self and other humans.One shouldnt close the eyes in this.Find it good to take the action against who forged and who tried to escape.
