Mangaluru, Sep 29: A day's workshop on ‘Emotional Intelligence- ‘The Key to Excellent Leadership’ was organized for the faculty of Carmel School.
The programme initiated with inaugural function graced by Sr Dr Maria Roopa, resource person of the Workshop, administrator of St Ann’s B ED College of Education, Sr Rose Agnes, the Administrator, Sr Sarika, and the principal.

The speaker spoke on the traits of an ideal Leader, types of leaders and the qualities of an excellent leadership. She further elucidated the major components of emotional quotient and emotional intelligence namely self awareness, self-management, social awareness and relationship management with the aid of videos, PPT and concrete examples. The entire teaching faculty was enriched with the skills imbibed through this thought provoking workshop.

Jahnavi Sanal flawlessly compered the programme and accorded a warm welcome. Sonia Monteiro, Preethi Gangama and Nisha Menezes articulated their opinion and gratitude to the resource person.
