Mumbai: Journalist, lawyer Suresh Acharya passes away

Mumbai, Sep 26: Suresh Acharya (49), who had served Mumbai’s journalism sector, became the executive committee member of Kannadiga Patrakartara Sangha, Maharashtra and its treasurer from 2012-2015 passed away after a massive heart attack at Manak hospital, Nerul west today.

He indulged in the legal profession after being assistant editor of Udayavani daily newspaper Mumbai edition. He hailed from Pilar, Karkala in Udupi district and was residing in Prasad Building, Gaundev, Nerul sector 10.

He has left behind his wife and relatives. Kannadiga Patrakartara Sangha Maharashtra president, office bearers and members have condoled his death.
