Bengaluru: CM releases books on A K Subbaiah, Dr Mahadev Banakar

Bengaluru, Sep 26: Chief minister B S Yediyurappa released books on the life and achievements of two of the parliamentarian stalwarts – late A K Subbaiah and Dr Mahadev Banakar – in the conference hall of Vidhana Soudha on Saturday.

The books are being published by the Karnataka Legislature as part of its series on noted parliamentarians of the state.

State Legislative Assembly speaker Vishweshwara Hegde Kageri, Legislative Council chairman K Pratap Chandra Shetty, assembly deputy speaker Anand Chandrashekar Mamani, opposition leader in the council S R Patil, former speaker of the State Assembly Ramesh Kumar and others attended the function.
