Mumbai: Hemalatha Chandrashekar Shetty passes away

Mumbai, Sep 25: Hemalatha Chandrashekar Shetty (47), resident of Charkop village, Kandivili east, daughter of Udupi district residents late Ananda Shetty and Gulabi A Shetty passed away after a brief illness in a private hospital on Mira Road here on Friday morning.

She was the wife of young entrepreneur, Charkop Kannadigara Balaga Kandivili vice president, Bantara Sangha Mumbai Jogeshwari Dahisar regional committee active worker, active in Veera Kesari Kalavrinda, Kannada Sahitya Parishat Maharashtra unit and several other organizations, well known social worker, a devotee of Ayyappa, Belman Chandrashekar Shetty. She has left behind a daughter and a large number of friends and relatives. Her last rites were held in Dahanukarvadi crematorium, Kandivili west today.

Office bearers and members of Bantara Sangha, Charkop Kannadigara Balaga and other organizations condoled her death.
