Kaup, Sep 19: Police sub-inspector of Shirva police station, Shreeshail DM, who visited the bus stand near Rehman circle in Belapu village after being tipped about a person behaving indecently, found that a person who had consumed some kind of intoxicant was behaving strangely. The man, identified as Shaikhfarhan Ali (25), son of Asgarali, residing in Janata Colony, Special Darkhas Belapu village, was put through the test at KMC Hospital where it was confirmed that he had consumed ganja. A case against the accused stands registered in Shirva police station.

Kaup police sub-inspector, I R Gaddekar, visited Pakeeranahakatte bus stand in Mallaru village on September 15 after getting information that a person who seemed like having been under the influence of drugs, was seen. The person, who was identified as Muzamil (25), son of Moideen, resident of Mallaru village, was produced before the medical officer of the forensic science department at KMC Hospital Manipal. After the officers certified that he had consumed ganja, a case was registered in Kaup station.

On Septemer 15, Kaup sub-inspector, I R Gaddekar, went to Pakeeranakatte bus stand after being tipped about the presence of a person in an intoxicated state having been sighted there. The person, Muhammed Arif (23), son of Basheer, resident of Mallaru village was produced in KMC Hospital where it was confirmed that he had consumed ganja. A case was registered against him at Kaup station.
