Mangaluru: Independence Day celebrated at Srinivas University Pandeshwar

Mangaluru, Aug 15: The 74th Independence Day was celebrated at Srinivas University, City Campus, Pandeshwar with fervour and patriotism.

CA A Raghavendra Rao – chancellor, Srinivas University, hoisted the national flag.

Addressing the gathering, he said, "Spirit and sacrifice what we had, in the beginning, should be continued now and forever. One cannot enjoy it unless and until the country prospers. Every child in the family should be a graduate with exposure to job-oriented courses. Unless one's nation does not progress, no one can be happy. We should all work toward the progress of our nation, society and country.

On this auspicious occasion, the lift which was renovated was inaugurated by CA A Raghavendra Rao.



Dr P S Aithal – chancellor, Dr Anil Kumar- registrar, Dr Ajay Kumar – registrar (Development) presided over the function.

Prof Keerthan Raj – dean, College of Management and Commerce, Prof Pavithra Kumari – dean, College of Aviation Studies, Prof Shridhara Acharya – dean, College of Computer and Information Science, Dr Laveena D’Mello – dean, College of Social Sciences and Humanities, Prof Swaminathan S – dean, College of Hotel Management and Tourism, Dr S Rajasekar – dean, College of Physiotherapy, Dr Jayashree K - dean, College of Education, Supriya Adiga – physical education director, teaching and non-teaching staff of Srinivas University City Campus, Pandeshwar were present on the occasion.
