Udupi: Sandhya Kamath elected president in taluk panchayat elections

Udupi, Aug 13: The elections for the post of taluk panchayat president and vice-president were held on August 13 at the taluk panchayat auditorium.

Sandhya Kamath was elected president and Sharath Kumar Bailakere was elected vice-president unopposed. Kundapur assistant commissioner Raju conducted the elections.

Udupi taluk panchayat executive officer, Mohan Raj and members of undivided Udupi, Kaup and Brahmavar taluk panchayat were present.
