Mangaluru, Aug 12: The department of Food, Nutrition and Dietetics in collaboration with Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) on August 5 organized a national level webinar on the topic 'Is Our Healthy Diet Really Healthy?'
The resource person for the webinar was Dr Cletus J M D’Souza, adjunct professor, department of Biochemistry, Mangalore University.
The webinar aimed at creating awareness of healthy food and to lead a healthier lifestyle. The platform for the webinar was Google Meet and Youtube and around 220 participated. Teaching fraternities, dieticians, nutritionists and students from all over India participated.
Principal Fr Michael Santhumayor welcomed the attendees and Ashwitha, from the department of Food, Nutrition and Dietetics compered the webinar.
