Daijiworld Media Network - Brahmavar (HB/SP)

Brahmavar, Aug 10: The personnel of Brahmavar police station have registered a case against a person who reportedly used abusive words against a clerk of Uppoor gram panchayat (GP) near here.

The complainant happens to be Bhavani (47), a clerk serving at Uppor gram panchayat. She has been serving here since the last 23 years. She belongs to a scheduled caste.

It is said that the accused, Ashwin Prasanna Roche from Kolalagiri within Uppoor gram panchayat limits, had visited the panchayat office at around 10.45 am on July 31. He had raised objections relating to demand of bills for certain works, and Bhavani is said to have provided him information.

Ashwin Prasanna, reportedly demeaning the lady just because she belongs to scheduled caste, treated her with derision, hurled abuses against her publicly, derided her with fake allegations and behaved improperly by insulting her. It is also reported that he also traduced against the panchayat and its employees, obstructed them from discharging their duties, and illegally recorded the proceedings through his mobile camera. The video clip was also uploaded in social media, causing defamation of the complainant. These government officers don’t understand the plight of common man for one small work they expect us to visit several times not understanding that if that person working for private sector how many leave or late requests approvals needed. If leave taken then whose going pay his that day’s salary. These government servants gets their salary from our tax amount. They do not have the Turn Around Time for a task nor escalation process. And they employ sc st. The moment you raise your voice or push them to do their task they start playing with cast abuse cards. If they’re so sensitive for their cast leave the job sit at home nobody will come and abuse in their houses. Hope these politicians abolish caste based reservations.

If online services were made available to common man instead of physically going to GP, the tracking workflow can help in identifying efficiency of officers.

RTI is taken advantage of, they give reply during end days of 30th day.

    They are totally corrupt.

Point out their mistakes, show their in capabilities of handling the work but do not use bad words or insult them.
To get a small job we have to go through so many exams / interviews and if we do not perform as per co. expectations  we will be sacked next day. But Govt. Job is given on caste basis & sometimes sold to the highest bidder (under the table)

I now understand what can happen if I shout at them since many in government offices are recruited based on caste reservations.

God save India. This man looks frustrated in this photo. Hope the govt officers should discharge thier duties and make life easier to common citizens to avoid unnecessary events happening towards them. Bottomline is results to common citizens is timely manner served than delays cause the frustration. Hope they will resolve this issue amicably than courts.
