Mumbai: Costume designer at Mira Road ends life by hanging

Mumbai, Jul 15: Shaikh Salim Khan, a costume designer committed suicide at his residence, Mira Road in Mumbai, the police stated on Wednesday, July 15.

Assistant police inspector, Pankaj Ghatkar said that the deceased was found hanging from the ceiling fan of his apartment on Monday night. He was 28.

Khan has left a suicide note in which he has stated not to hold anyone responsible for his death and the cause of his death was that he was fed up with life.

The deceased worked as a costume designer. He had worked for various film studios in Mumbai. His mother also lived in a different apartment in the same high-rise.

A case has been registered in this regard of unnatural death and further investigations are on the police said.
