Ashok Gehlot govt in minority, says Sachin Pilot

Jaipur, Jul 12 (IANS): Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister and Congress leader Sachin Pilot will not attend the legislative party meeting scheduled to be held on Monday, and has openly announced that the Ashok Gehlot-led government in the state is in minority after over 30 Congress and some Independent MLAs pledged support to him.

In an official statement, Pilot said, "Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot government is in minority after over 30 Congress and some independent MLAs have pledged support to me."

Deputy Chief Minister Pilot, who is camping in Delhi with around 15 MLAs, has sought time from the Congress high command.

Pilot also had an elaborate discussion with Jyotiraditya Scindia, his former party colleague and friend, who recently jumped ship to the BJP after being sidelined in Madhya Pradesh by former Chief Minister Kamal Nath.

Pilot went to Delhi to meet interim Congress chief Sonia Gandhi. However, he received no communication from the party high command. In fact, Congress veterans, including Randeep Surjewala, Avinash Pandey and Ajay Makan, were asked to rush to Jaipur and hold a meeting of the party MLAs on Monday.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Gehlot has called a dinner of the party MLAs on Sunday night, which is also termed as ‘dinner diplomacy'.

How many days are yu going to live in this world. Be a sincere person and let people remember you once you leave this world. By your action, we will remember yu as traitor and gaddar. Dont get trapped by anti national bjp leaders. Live in a sincere way. You will not take money or power with you when you die. None is going to live permanently in this world. Hitler, Changez Khan, Nepolian etc came to this world and left without anything.

    Using the congress to get a foothold in politics, enjoy all the powers a political party can shower, and then betray it is the maxim of the younger generation politicians starting from Scindia and now Sachin Pilot. Youngsters should have an ambition to grow but not greed. A person who climbs the ladder without merit is bound to fall. This will be the fate of Scindia and Pilot. Time alone will answer this. The fate of S.M. Krishna is one example.

    Sachin pilot is a deputy chief minister .. and has given good portfolio in Congress government..... still he left party means he is lobbied big money to switch off party..... and Congress failed to unite the young leaders due to the old junk...
    Its shame to BJP... BJP using all nationel revenue only to buy ministers..... and its shame to Indian politics ...and also big insult to the people who voted them ...

    Regarding giving money to Pilot u r under estimating the Pilot.

    I remember, that as a child, i laughed a lot on imagining Kalidas cutting the branch on which he was sitting. Its a common sense not to cut the branch of the tree on which one is sitting. However since quite sometime i find congress party doing the same.
