Mangaluru: Mallur gram panchayat receives helping hand from St Joseph Engineering College

Mangaluru, Jul 9: Continuing its efforts in coming forward to help the needy, St Joseph Engineering College (SJEC), gave away over 100 food kits to the representatives of Mallur gram panchayat for distribution among its villagers.

Mallur gram panchayat president, PDO and other officials received the food kits at Mallur gram panchayat office. The representatives from Mallur said that the kits would go a long way in catering to the needs of the impoverished families in the neighbourhood and thanked the management of the college coming forward to aid the needy.

The college has always been in the forefront to rush to the necessities of the local community in times of need. As part of its educational social responsibility, the college has adopted five villages including Mallur and has been actively providing timely assistance to each of its adopted villages.
