Lockdown or no lockdown, the virus will have to run its course. Lockdown is not a solution but a postponement of the inevitable peak that has to come soon. We have to learn to live with the virus around and be responsible for our and others safety. Mask, social distancing and sanitising are key in this regard.

Lock-downs will have no effect. Lock-down is only a PAUSE button, but the virus doesn't have a Pause button. If the original lock-down of 70 days didn't slow down the virus, don't expect miracles from another lockdown.

When 3 months curfew or lock down didn't help bring down the infection rate any other part time curfews won't help either.
This virus will linger like any other epidemic causing viruses for 2 years & after that it will run its course & won't be that infectious or deadly which was the case in the past too. So are they ready to continue this exercise in vain until December 2021?
Focus on immunity along with herd immunity is the only solution. There are more viruses than stars in the galaxies, nobody can afford lock down for life time.

Instead of lockdown, awareness on social distancing and wearing of mask should be taken care. We don’t know when this pandemic will last. Atleast social distancing should be part of life anymore.
