Brahmavar: Two youngsters drown in rivulet while fishing

Brahmavar, Jul 3: In a heart rending incident reported from Halekodi, Barkur near here, two young men from Herady area who were trying to catch fish from a rivulet near Barur Halekodi met a watery grave. This tragic incident happened at 8.30 am on Friday July 3.

Both the men, Karthik (21), and Harsha (25), were locals. The rivulet was in full flow when they went fishing in the rivulet. Two persons who watched the drowning incident from the bank were helpless and they could not rescue the drowning men, police sources said. The bodies were fished out later.

It is said that relatives of the two young men reside in Halekodi area. Harsha was working as a recovery agent for a local finance company while Karthik was a final year BCom student.

Local police personnel rushed to the spot. A case was registered at Brahmavar police station.

    Jossey Sir, now no need of demonstrating the swimming skills because of two reasons... One is corona, second is suvarna. Suvarna is full....and corona is harmful... You can do so when the water in the river will be till the knee level....and corona goes to hell... Understood??
