CA Day celebration 2020 at Udupi branch of SIRC of ICAI

Udupi, Jul 2: Udupi Branch of Southern India Regional Council of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India has observed 72nd CA Day on Wednesday, Jul 1 at ICAI Bhawan, Kunjibettu, Udupi. Celebrations began with the chairman CA Pradeep Jogi hoisting the Institute flag at ICAI Bhawan at 9.15 am and addressing the members and students. Speaking on the occasion, Joshi said, "With every passing year chartered accountants evolved and adapted to the ever-changing ways of the world. ICAI has completed 72 years of its glorious existence."



After the flag hoisting, blood donation camp was organized at KMC Manipal blood bank. The vice-chairman and SICASA chairman CA Kavitha M Pai T, secretary CA Lokesh Shetty, past chairmen, members and students were present during the event.

Udupi ICAI organized various programmes on the celebration of CA Day:

From June 25 to July 1, the Udupi ICAI held various events such as Virtual CPE meeting on 'Code of Ethics and Standards on Auditing' on June 25, distribution of masks in Nittur High School and St Francis Xavier High School, Udyavara, plantation of saplings at Nittur High School, providing support to agriculture, the branch has supported an initiative to convert fallen land into a paddy field. A blood donation programme was also conducted for CA Day.
