Our DC has been strict, hardworking and sincere. It is the local politicians putting undue pressure on him to release people from quarantine before Covid reports come. And these released people dont maintain home quarantine and keep roaming around.

DC Jagadeesha is a very brave and honest officer. However no beaurocrats can take action against the ruling party leaders.

Is there separate guidelines for Political gatherings? I believe there is no such guidelines on social distancing for politicians. last week we saw few ministers visited temples and public display, there were hundreds of people without social distancing? are they Corona resistant ?

I work in an engineering college as a PhD student. I travel from Mangalore to Manipal because the university forced us to rejoin ASAP. That is all fine. I have to catch express bus in the morning. The bus only goes till Udupi. I never find a direct bus to Manipal. However, the city buses from Udupi to Manipal are jam packed with little to no concern for the ongoing pandemic. People don't take it seriously. I am scared for my family now. Maybe I'm overreacting but if I fall sick, I'll lock my doors and never come out.

I feel its better to impose complet lockdown in udupi for 14 days. Since we have seen few police personnel get infected. There may be few medical staff which we might not know.

Home quarantine and isolation is the best alternative for all. Don't ruin the school safety environment for those naive children who don't know nothing about Covid 19.

Hidden virus may spread to these children...pls pls

Respected Sir Please concentrate on testing and isolation of other state migrants especially from Maharashtra. This will control the spread of covid rather than concentrating on irrelevant things

The importance of wearing a mask in public places is not taken seriously. I am working in a PSU and some of my colleagues refuse to wear mask in the office, in spite of an office order. It is a shame to my organization.
I know how overburdened the district administration is at this time, but I wish surprise checks are conducted, and a hefty penalty is imposed.
