Mangaluru: Creative drawing competition marks World Environment Day at Shakthi Residential School

Mangaluru, Jun 5: Marking World Environment Day, Shakthi Residential School, Shakthinagar, here, hosted an online drawing competition for the students.

The competition was held in two categories. The primary students were asked to sketch the benefits of the lockdown period, while the higher group was given the topic ‘Nature-Before and during the lockdown period'.

Students contributed their imagination as enthusiastically as they do for their regular online sessions which have been conducted for almost a month now.

"To develop a good rapport between the students to ensure that the studying curve does not decline, it would be a continuous affair until the school re-opens," said Vidya Kamath G, the principal.

Poornesh the art teacher was the co-ordinator and organized the event successfully.
