Mangaluru, Jun 2: A fire erupted at the BSNL office in Deralakatte on Tuesday June 2. The fire originated in the server room of the telecom office.

Sources reported that the fire erupted due to some technical glitch in the cooling system that was installed in the room.

The fire charred down items worth lakhs of rupees in the office. Due to the fire outbreak, service was disrupted in the nearby areas.

Firefighters rushed to the spot and brought the situation under control.
