Ajman, May 30: The authorities of Ajman in UAE have announced that they are allowing more economic activities from Sunday, May 31.

The department of economic development in the emirate said that this is allowed under the 'Guidelines and protocols for reopening economic activities.'

Establishments like fitness clubs, cinemas, gyms and children's salooons in addition to valet parking and car wash services can resume their activities from Sunday with only 50% of the total capacity of the establishments. The crowd gathering should be avoided in all these places.

People above the age of 60 and children below the age of 12 will be allowed only if pre-appointment is taken to visit health centres and clinics inside retail centers. They should be accompanied by an adult and the same should be informed to the security men.

Preventive and precautionary measures have to be followed by employees manning the valet parking in designated places including malls and hotels.

All the employees of these establishments should go for home quarantine if they have come from overseas to the emirate and also should undergo screening test for Covid-19.

The department of economic development of the emirate also asked the individual establishments to follow the guidelines and protocols that were issued earlier during the National Disinfection Programme. They need to use thermal scanners on all the employees and visitors to make sure that they do not carry infection. In addition, the establishments should provide hand sanitizing solutions to all and also maintain social distance of two meters minimum.
