Udupi: DC holds meeting to assess progress on coronavirus pandemic

Udupi, Apr 10: DC Jagadeesh held a meeting at his office at Rajatadri on Friday, April 10 to assess the progress the district administration is making with regards to controlling the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic.

Dr Prashant, nodal officer for the district explained the precautionary measures taken in this regard. MLA of Udupi Raghupati Bhat, MLA of Karkala Sunil Kumar, MLA of Kundapur Halady Srinivas Shetty, MLA of Kaup Lalaji R Mendon and MLA of Byndoor Sukumar Shetty collected information from the respective nodal officers and officials of task force regarding the steps that need to be taken in their respective constituencies to curb the spread of the pandemic.

SP Vishnuvardhan and CEO and officer of health and family welfare Dr Sudhir Sooda were present in the meeting.
