Mangaluru, Apr 2: Food kits were distributed to poor families in dire straits due to the ongoing lockdown announced by the union government in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic by Akshith Suvarna, district president of youth JD (S) of Dakshina Kannada district.



Speaking on the occasion, Akshith said, "The families of daily wage labourers and middle class workers are facing lot of difficulties due to the coronavirus lockout announced by the union government."
