In this background, a new app created with the help of a firm named Isearch has been launched. The app titled COVID19 BLT DATABASE, is being used to keep tab on the people suspected to have contracted the disease with the involvement of taluk administration, tahsildar, police department, health, revenue, civil supplies department, Shramik, Beltangady MLA office and search.

Preliminary works relating to this first ever experiment in the country have b completed and it would be given to departmental use. This app was planned after one CPOVID 19 case emerged from Tannirupantha village. This system reportedly will help the officials to keep tab on home quarantined people.

I believe this is a GPS navigator commonly used in Transport companies to track the vehicles (Almost everywhere in GULF). Infact, in this case a SIM card will be installed in a hidden way in the vehicle, and the SIM gives signal to the tracking application about its geographical location.

I believe, in the reported case mobile SIM of the home quarantined person is used to track. But, what about when Mobile phone he leaves at home and travels everywhere????
