Mangaluru: ACT adoption camp to be held on Mar 1

Mangaluru, Feb 28: To provide forever loving homes to abandoned, homeless Desi puppies and kittens, Animal Care Trust (ACT), Shakthinagar in association with other organizations, has been regularly organizing adoption camps in and around the city and neighbouring cities.

One such camp will be organized on Sunday March 1 at Achal-Phalguni Urva and Aura- The Place, Chilimbi from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm.

In addition to encouraging people to adopt a pup/kitten, ACT also aims at creating awareness among people about the benefits of adopting a desi puppy/kitten. As a few studies have shown that having a pet can have positive health effects such as decreasing depression, anxiety, stress so on so forth.



Those who wish to adopt are required to get their valid photo, ID proof for registration to the camp where over 20 vaccinated pups and 10 kittens are put up for adoption.

Adopting families will also have access to advice about pet care at home.
